This auto load machine is designed for smooth continuous motion while providing quick and repeatable changeovers to maximize production uptime. Additionally, the Alterion can run a wide range of carton sizes and comes standard with 6.8 feet of handloading area optimized for product flexibility. Need to run bags into a box this month and cracker slugs into a box next month? No problem! It accommodates a range of carton sizes from 5x1x4.25 inches to 10x6.5x14 inches and can achieve speeds up to 170 cartons per minute.

Compact Build: With a base length of just 7.7 meters and a width of 2.2 meters, the CL-170 is surprisingly compact without compromising on the robust design R.A Jones cartoners are known for. Its smaller footprint is still built on the proven technology of our Criterion® machines to ensure longevity and reliability.

Scalability: A standard feature on the Alterion is configurable bucket conveyer length, which allows manufacturers to tailor machine footprint and speed to their needs. Regardless of layout changes, your machine will stay ready for production.

Easy Changeovers: Loader pusher heads with a simple to use latch system makes for quick changeovers. Other features such as a single-point handwheel adjustment provide quick transport depth changes, and servo-driven adjustable 4-chain carton transport lugs provide swift, repeatable carton length adjustments.

Ergonomic Design: The Alterion CL-170 features full length clear guard doors for enhanced visibility and a drop through frame design for easy cleaning. Operators will also benefit from the loader bypass conveyor designed to improved usability.
