‘Queen Bee’ Ushers Bumble Bee Out of Plastic Shrink, Into Paperboard Multipacks | Packaging World

Bumble Bee Seafoods was looking for a paperboard solution as part of their Seafood Future Commitment, that included moving toward more sustainable practices in their production facility and product packaging. Not only did they need a multipacker to replace their 25-year-old shrink-wrap machine, but that machine had to fit in the pre-existing line and be capable of numerous can pack configurations. That is why Bumble Bee Foods partnered with R.A Jones to customize a Meridian XR MPS-300 multipacker to meet their unique present and future needs.
