Maxim® Heavy Duty Flap Separator Servos with Right Angle Gearboxes

The Heavy Duty Flap Separators are more robust and provide increased reliability over the existing flap separator components. This upgrade is made possible due to innovations in design and available components that were not available at the time of the original development.

Benefits Include:

• Handles thick fiberboard and corrugated cartons
• Larger drive shaft that minimizes damage during jams
• Larger motors.
• These servos are mounted on 90-degree gearboxes
• Simpler mechanical set up
• They have better control and more available torque than the existing motors driving the separators, including conditions when the packer guard doors are open.
• The new motors are rated at 12 inch-pound, versus the 1-2 inch-pound previous motors.
